Zip Top reusable containers that stand up, stay open and zip shut.

Zip top ContainerIn that short opening description of the Zip Top container, there’s enough information that would make this a sought-after product for hikers, campers, and backpackers, but there’s a lot more to this product than just its ability to stand up and store food.

The Zip Top reusable container is made with 100% Platinum Silicone, this means that you can reuse them over and over again, their food grade, can be microwaved, put in an oven up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius, and they are safe to put in the freezer.

Why Use Zip Top Containers?

Reduce plastic waste – Did you know that the average American family uses up to 2,000 plastic bags per year? All that plastic ends up in our landfills and oceans, where it contributes to the death of over a 100,000 marine animals every year. Using a product like Zip Top containers eliminates all that needless waste plastic.

Safer – Plastic containers are traditionally petroleum-based and they contain harmful chemicals such as BPA’s, LEAD, PVC, and PHTHALATES. These toxins can leach into your food when you heat your food, especially in the microwave. Zip top containers are made from silicone, which is made from sand the same as glass is made from sand. This means they are completely food-safe.

We have reached out to the makers of Zip Top Containers and asked for a sample to try and share with our community, they assured me as soon as samples are ready one will be shipped to us so we can video it’s many uses in the great outdoors. As hikers and adventure travel enthusiasts we can see many uses for this product that will not only help our environment but make our adventures easier in the process.
